A team of 17 people, from Rancho Baptist Church, took 400 CDs and 50 DVDs of the Gospel message in Spanish to the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival in Riverside, California. Dia de los Muertos is a Latin festival celebrating and inviting back the spirits of those who have died. What a perfect place to share the Gospel and the truth about life after death. For many on the team this was their first experience doing an outreach such as this, yet they stepped out of their comfort zone and trusted the Lord to use them. The team gave out all 400 CDs and 50 DVDs in less than 1 1/2 hours! Many had further conversations with individuals about their beliefs and about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. As many here believed that you are saved by works or being a "good" person, the Bible clearly teaches that we are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone! None of us are "good" enough to get to heaven on our own. Please pray for all who received CDs, DVDs, and tracts. Pray that the Lord reveals Himself in big ways.
